OK, thanks. I guess that is the reason only one tuner is showing up since the Wally is setup with Winegard RoadTrip T4 In-Motion Satellite Antenna.
I'm not familiar with that antenna but that makes sense.

Even the the OTA dual adapter has one tuner too? How can that be when it is OTA and doesn't go thru the single legacy LNB.As we've said before, that RoadTrip T4 dish on his RV roof has a single legacy LNB. And the Wally only recognizes the dual OTA tuners when its connected to an open face dish with a multi-satellite DPP or DPH LNB.

Good lord, what a mess. The Wally programming controls the OTA adapter, and that's the way it works. I don't know if it was a design decision or a technical limitation.
What dish antenna do you have? Thanks. Tuner 1 shows available. Tuner 2 shows the program I am watching. OTA tuners 1 and 2 both show as available.
What dish antenna do you have?
Thanks. Are you using a different dish antenna now?At that particular moment I was using a 1000.2 WA dish.
According to post #10, a hybrid tuner is not required for two tuners, which is right? The second tuner is only available if you're using a DPP or Hybrid LNB. If you're connected to a legacy LNB then it's one tuner only.

I didn't say it required a Hybrid LNB I said it works with a Hybrid LNB.
To have both tuners available in a Wally you must use either a DishProPlus LNB or a Hybrid LNB.
Good luck with that. I doubt they will even consider spending the money for an extremely small population.I understand the Wally not getting two satellite tuners without DPP or Hybrid LNBs, but I would think you should still be able to get two OTA tuners with the Dual OTA adapter attached. I am going to send an email to DISH asking them to update the Wally's software so both OTA tuners work with the non DPP and Hybrid LNB dish antennas.
Yep, understand.Good luck with that. I doubt they will even consider spending the money for an extremely small population.
