$700M cash including Dish getting some wireless licenses cover 45 DMAs. It is fair to say the VOOM's star attorney is crap crap crap crap, at least as far as Mr.4069 is concerned.
Perhaps now you can now Troll-Away to a land where Dish really does beat Tivo, Dish also beats Voom, and your beloved leader does no wrong. :dontfeedtrolls:
This is good news for both parties, who are both happy with the settlement! Now, if you wish to now somehow spin this good news in a major win for Dish...go right ahead and keep yourself entertained.

Well now with AMC back on, thanks to the fellow satellite guys out there who first discussed the roku and the credits, thanks to dish for providing the credits and the roku's for the shows we were going to miss or thought we might miss (mad men) for me
BTW, didn't Dish and TiVo settle at the last minute, BEFORE an actual judgement was passed? Or is my memory faulty? Well, it is, but that's for another thread!

Thanks for 4 1/2 years of lively discussion everyone! At least we all finally know happened in this case...exactly what Voom claimed in their amended complaint back May 2008. Anyway, I've had enough of this thread for one lifetime so it's time to exit stage left. Again, this is great news for CV/AMC Networks and Dish Network customers. And who knows, perhaps we'll see some Monsters and KungFu action in the future? I'll see some of you in The Walking Dead thread later this evening. :

Looks like my prediction was closest with out going over.
I predicted $400 Million. Yet some called that outrageous.
In the end Dish Paid out $400 Million plus about $300 Million for the Wireless licenses that they wanted all along for a total of $700 Million.
