Looks like the DNS resolution is making its way through the internet. Checks done 5:45pm EST

When I had a domain name expire, I had at least a month past the expiration date to pay. So I don't think someone could take it the day it expires.
Count me as not being able to use dishnetwork.com
dish.com now gets me to the the login page that dishnetwork used togo to but I get a server timeout trying to log in
I vote Its still broke, but maybe the new domain address hasn't propagated back to my area yet.

OT, but I saw where they're selling something like 122 new suffixes that are supposed to be guaranteed safe, like .ibm will be verified can only be used by IBM if they chose to register it.
If you had a domain that was of great interest, they wouldn't have sat on it for you. Trademark domains fetch very high prices from those who would sell them back at a premium.
I worked at AT&T and then Lucent when it was spun off. They paid big bucks for a company to give them their name and logo. Turned out that some small operation had registered lucent.com and they had to give the guy big bucks to buy it from him.
I did log into my account earlier today, but now, I get a server error for https://my.dish.com/customercare/usermanagement/prepLogon.do
and some weird results for both dish.com and dishnetwork.com

I'm sticking to my story about the domain name taking time to propagate to my area and local DNS.
Sorry, I didn't mean to infer anything about your side of the situation. I just said it wrong.
I just checked it's working for me, although I'm not a dish sub, but I was able browse through different links, including the my account section. Not sure what happens when you log in though.

A few minutes ago is the first time today I tried logging in to mydish.com and dishnetwork.com --and I seem to be getting similar results as DNSTrainer in Post # 50.
Tried with Firefox, Chrome and IE10.

Oh yes it is! I go to Dish.com and when I click on "my account", the page that comes up says "This webpage is not available". What url are you using?
My ISP, penteldata, has 3 DN servers. A few months ago a new site opened and it took me over a day to get access, their tech support claimed they were having no problems - they were on a different DNS. The problem may be local but I see other subs are having the same problem I have.
