Dish Settings for DPP 1000.2 EA Twin

I am setting a DPP 1000.2 with a EA Twin head for use in the east. I am having a problem finding the settings for dish.

I have found 3-4 tables that vary. Some have the table headings wrong. I don't thing the settings for a DPP 1000.4 EA are correct.

Anyone know where to find the correct settings table for a DPP 1000.2 EA Twin?

Have you tried dishpointer.com?

The 1000.2 EA is not on dishpointer, but the 1000.4EA settings on there should do it.

Yes I checked DishPointer, but even if you select Dish 1000.4 (61.5W, 72.7W, 77W), you only get Azimuth and Elevation.

Went back and looked. The Skew isn't in the center panel on the map but it is at the bottom of the map.

Thanks for the help I was wondering the same. I have to install a wing dish for 77 as well. My question is do I use the -9.2 skew angle that dish pointer shows for 77, or set the dish at 90 degrees?

What kind of Dish are you using for the wing?

I am using a dish 500 with a dish pro single lnb.

Use the Dish 500 for the 77 bird. I believe you can choose that, but not sure. Alternative, use the settings in the point Dish screen for the 500 and 77.

If you are using a single LNB and Pointing at a Single orbital location it's always 90 degrees.

You only use tilt when you are trying to pick up multiple orbital locations using a Multi satellite LNB

The 1000.2 EA is not on dishpointer, but the 1000.4EA settings on there should do it.

It should get you close, But the 1000.4 is a Larger dish, I believe 22x28, vs 19x24.
Plus the 1000.4 has to be tilted more to pick up satellites from 61.5 to the 77, where as the 1000.2 has a smaller footprint to cover.

And by just looking at my 2EA, it looks like it's set to 90. Actually 88
Where as the 1.4K has a skew setting. 86

So they are different ,but not much.
