DISH retention offers

If you go to My Account there is a list of options to the left, one is Savings Guarantee. If you click it, your agreement with start/end dates will pop up.

In that spot on mine is "Preferred Customer Offer", which I click on and it has these prices:

To answer PP, you can also look at your bill, mine shows I'm hitting my 2 year this month (I signed up for ePay at the same time I signed the offer), so I plan on calling them.

Maybe that $42.99 (from the link in post number 5) for AT120 was a typo, which Dish has finally gotten around to correcting. It never really made sense to me that they would be offering AT120 for the exact same price as Flex Pack, even as a promo offer.
I tried to get that price just yesterday when I called in to renew my old two year deal. She said she's never been able to sell it at that price. I wonder if anyone has successfully gotten it at $42.99? Otherwise....typo.

Oh dear. Well, get ready to send in your paychecks, as Charlie said by accident on my favorite Charlie Chat many long years ago. ;)
The funny thing is that I seem to remember watching the Chat when he said that, and I honestly interpreted that line at the time as meaning "your payment checks" as in paying your monthly Dish bill. So, it was not until I started reading this site years after the fact, with everyone still making fun of that Chat, that I finally caught how funny that line was.

Yeah; I saw it too. In context, I think he was trying to compare it to the modest fraction of your paycheck that you are already spending on other things. (No, I don't remember those other things, either.)

On mine, I do not see either Savings Guarantee or Preferred Customer Offer. Instead, my list includes Amazon Echo Dot, still giving me the option to resend a promotional code for a free Echo Dot, that I already redeemed more than three years ago as soon as Dish sent me the code the first time.

Okay, so comparing the charts in posts number 95 and 105 can get really confusing. The chart in post 105 is obviously the older chart, yet it lists higher prices for most of the packages. So, the only way it makes sense for the America's Top Packages is if the post 105 chart includes the $12 locals in the prices listed. Subtract that $12, then add the $5 increase that occurred in the meantime, and you get the price in the post 95 chart, which is $7 lower. (AT120+ through AT250) AT120 is only $2 lower in the post 95 chart, so the amount of the monthly discount must have also decreased by $5, in addition to the $5 increase to the regular price, for a total increase of $10 to offset the $12 savings.

However, the only way the prices for the Latino packages in the charts makes any sense is if the post 105 chart had already removed the $12 locals from those prices, since the prices listed there are actually lower than the ones in the new post 95 chart. Latino Plus is the same price either way, so the amount of the discount must have continued to increase, in order to offset any increases to the regular monthly price. Latino Clasico shows a $3 increase in the post 95 chart, while Latino Dos and Latino Max each had a $5 increase.

I had the $42.99 price until July when my 2-year offer expired. But that was obviously granted in 2018. I haven't seen anyone here report getting that price in the last several months so not sure when exactly they updated it to $52.99. The guy I spoke to when I renewed yesterday claimed it was Jan 1st.

Maybe Dish isn’t guaranteeing savings to some people, who might not be “preferred.”
;)
Oh, I know I am not "preferred." I post every chance I get, about how I can pay less than even the grandfathered Welcome Pack price with my cheap International Basic subscription. I fully expect that Dish is not going to offer me any discounts. On the other hand, International Basic usually doesn't have any price increases very often, either. ;)
