dish remote codes ??

Does anyone know what remote code I can use on my 501 to control it with my Panasonic HDTV remote? The codes they gave me dont work. Or where I could find them? Thanks Bob

So you are wanting to control the satellite receiver with the television remote? Try to see if there is a code scan that you can perform.

I have the same question, in reverse. I have an LG LST-3510A, which is a combo HDTV tuner and DVD player, which I use for OTA signals.

I want to be able to at least turn this on and off, and change channels, using the Dish remote. But I can't find any LG equipment at all listed in the table of remote codes, and doing a code scan didn't work either.

Does anybody know where I can look up the LG code so I can give this a shot?

Is your 501 set to address #1? Most universal remote codes only work on DISH address #1.
