Does anyone know which model Polk soundbar Dish is currently offering for redeeming referral points? Couldn’t find any definitive info on the Dish site.

Thanks,
Kelly

Should’ve added, called support and used chat. Apparently they don’t have access to the model number. Specs provided on redemption page are skeletal, at best.

That's it. We just got that in March. It's OK, better than the DSB1 in many ways, not as good in others (No PCM mode, for one thing)
Thanks for the reply. Maybe the newness explains why cs has no info. I’m still not finding detailed specs, even on the Polk site. Not even a width for the soundbar. You mention no PCM, do you have access to the full specs?

Thanks again for steering me to the model. Emailed Polk support. Surely they can send a PDF or link me the specs.

You can try poking around amazon for that model...they seem to have better specs

I'll look for the specs, but here's the manual

From my own experience, the soundbar has a nice sound to it. But lacks the volume levels of the Magnif-Max Sr that I have on my TV.
It comes with a "night mode" which I don't really understand since it just drops the peak Highs and Lows and a Voice Enhance mode.

The HDMI ARC output works well with every brand of TV I've used it on that has an ARC input, otherwise, you need to use Optical. The best sound though, seems to come from the Bluetooth connection.

There is no HDMI Inputs and there is no Google Assistant built-in, as with other Current Polk Sound Bars.

The Sub has better than OK deep tones, but not the best I've heard.
The rears are junk. I'll just be honest. I can barely hear anything coming through them on most types of programming. Of course, I'm not watching movies on them with the customer, but the SiriusXM channels, which broadcast in Analog, the sound is great through them. The lack of PCM or Stereo mode is aggravating since most of my Polk Sales have been to older customers with hearing issues, but that's a different topic.

The remote feels cheap and is slow to respond when turning the volume up or dow, at first, then it jumps up (or down) and that's with any remote you use, not just the Polk Remote.

Overall, it's not a bad soundbar. I mean, it's Polk Audio but it's a Dish Specific model and Sales and Profit were a big motivator in the Engineering so it lacks some things I would expect in a Home Surround Sound system and that I get in the Magnify.

I'd say it;'s a middle of the road system that's better than something you'd get at Walmart but not anything close to a top of the line system, but hey, it's free, right?

Polk Audio replied to my email and sent a PDF of the user’s manual. Really more of a ”quick start” guide and includes no specs or dimensions. I did, however, find a picture of the front panel status lights, which shows PCM as an input option. See attached.

Just FYI, and thanks a third time.

I went ahead and ordered through the Dish RaF reward program. I’ll post when again once received and set up, if anyone else might be interested.

thanks for additional info from everyone. I tried the Amazon route for info first, but couldn’t find anything. I suppose because it’s a Dish specific model? Anyway, it’s ordered and I’m stuck with it now. Really hope the PCM input, that’s documented in manual, is actually a feature and not an error

Arrived today. DBS1 & DBS2. Guess they’re still shipping old stock. I’d have applied the $300 in credits towards bills, had I known. This is really basic info Dish CS should have been able to tell me when I called or used chat.
Guess the newer gear is strictly for tech upsells.

You might just post it for sale in satelliteguys classifieds

The DSB (Not DBS) is a pretty solid soundbar, too. Most techs think it sounds better than the Cinema

My GF got the DSB1 sound bar with the DSB3 powered surrounds and it's fairly decent. We put it in her BR and pretty happy. It's a very basic system with minimal available adjustments but for rewards I think it's worth it. I was surprised at the sound quality.
