Dont wory it is not the reciver. If this does not work then the problem is with the channels not being activated on you account. Belive me I went all this week through this until today. And then got more than I was expecting to achive.

I called so many times today the last agent told me that he was reviewing the heckload of notes other agents placed explaining what I went through
still nothing but the crap pr pack we had before
the last agent in a polite way said "stfu and wait until august1
"
so I guess thats all we can do
I HIGHLY doubt my receiver is damaged since it is brand new and passed the activation like a champ and has been working smoothly all day.I even got the new local channel 54 so that means it cant be a problem with receiving the activation signals from headquarters
to anyone having the same issue as me just wait until the first, 2 more days wont kill us

That was the weirdest thing. All of my HD channels, even the older ones, had disappeared. I was watching the new HD channels earlier today. I called Dish a second time and they said they needed to put the "new" PR HD package on my account which was $10 instead of $9.99. Once they did that my old channels showed back up but the new channels are still in red. OK, since I started this post they are dropping off. I no longer see the new HD channels in red...they are completely gone. I give up. I just hope August 1st brings them back.

I found out something, I went to TV2 and everything was OK. I have a diplexer for the distribution of TV2 throught the house. The diplexer is connected to TV2 coaxial out and TV2 SAT IN. TV1 SAT IN I believe comes from a SW21 directly to the receiver. I went and switched the SAT IN from 2 to 1 and now TV1 is ok but TV2 is still giving me the errors. Can anyone tell me a solution for this?
Well I commit the Cardinal Sin. Trying to help a friend I gave the CSR my account as an example and the CSR changed my package and I lost ALL MY BELOVED HD... I spent 3 hours with so many different people and nobody helped me. They tried, but damn I specifically told the CSR don't change anything!!!!! yezzzz I don't even have the new channels or the Old PR Package. So the only HD I have right now are the Premiums.
I noticed that besides Nel, only the People with the Latino Packages got the new HD.
Rdavidowski, can you give me the name and the CSR number of the person that helped you...

I'm in St. Croix and they appeared for me yesterday in the 170is channel range. No calls, no problems, they were just there.
Now if only I could get them to turn on VS in HD for hockey season off of 61.5 I'd be set.
So now if you live in the USVI, off of 1 4 foot Dish you can get quite a bit of HD, this is great!

I have the Everything Package, yeap I pay a lot but my family and I hardly rent movies so I watch them all on the Premiums. I upgraded to the AT250 to get the Tour de France and it was a better deal to upgrade to the Everything Because they gave me 3 months free for HBO and Showtime..
I'm at work but I will continue to make the life misserable to the CSRs for their mistake... I had that package since the original VOOM days, when they first added 10 channels and billed $10 for them. Then the VOOm pckg got expanded, and then eliminated for all those great channels that I had. I can even describe my frustration, I didn't watch SD channels anymore. Only the Networks until Tuesday when I got the Chicago Locals in HD from mydistantnetworks.com.. So frustated that I considered cancelling my 12 year old account last night..

I am at work aswell, if you call them before I do ask them if the classic bronze 100 subs will get the new HD channels if they have the HD channel for 9.99 for PR and virgin islands

I am realy sorry, boy those CSR are something. I did not talk to any CSR to get what I got yesterday. I comunicated directly with the Advance Engeniring Dptm. they are the ones able to make any changes. Both guys that worked with me were very knowlegable of the PR situation. They themself after a while comunicated me to tier 2 staff and these guys are the ones on the controls making the changes. Actualy the guy at tier 2 made the changes and at the same time while I was watching my guide the channels became authorized. The changes were made immediately. I have the number I called at home. I'll be home after 6pm please pm me or send me an email at wrdi1971@hotmail.com and I will give you the number.

on my acocunt it just appears as [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]AK/HI/PR/VI HD PAK instead of HD enabled, HD pack as you
all dish is telling me is to wait until august 1
and if for any reason I dont get it I can cancel the package with the downgrade fee waived
