Dish Network’s Sling TV Has More Than 600,000 Subscribers

Funny, that Sling Tv has 600,000 subs and they add those sub counts in with DISH Satellite sub count and DISH still lost 81,000 subs .

Actually that means Dish lost 681,000 subs since the Sling subs are added in.

Well the DISH Satellite company would of lost up to 600,000. I think that Sling Tv is the only reason they aren't showing the losses more. That is why Charlie is saying that DBS is a mature and declining service.

Sling TV made its debut in January of last year, and it's quickly grown to 500,000 to 600,000 subscribers. The over-the-top streaming television service from DISH Network(NASDAQ:DISH) offers about two dozen channels for $20. DISH decided to lump its Sling TV customers in with its regular satellite TV subscribers despite the huge disparity in average billing per customer. Even so, DISH lost 81,000 net subscribers last year.
