DISH Network subscribers will be able to watch all of the exciting racing action for the everyday low price of $49.99 per month.
I thought RTN stood for Retro Television Network.DISH Network Corporation (Nasdaq: DISH) today announced that it has entered into a long-term agreement with Racetrack Television Network (RTN) and HorseRacing TV (HRTV) for the creation of a subscription racing package.
Bzzzzt... Yet another offer from Dish that will be easy for me to ignore.....The subscription package will be offered to DISH Network(R) subscribers under the brand name "Racetrack Television Network," and will consist of up to 80 channels of live thoroughbred, quarterhorse, harness and greyhound racing. ....
yeah baybee!!!!This is awesome for the big time horse bettors.
you'be surprised at how many feeds are out there on a given race day. From Weds through Sunday there may be as many as 50 to 60 tracks operating at the same time. Can't imagine there would ever be 80 on at the same time.
No...These are actual live feeds from the tracks themsleves that are provided to simulcast outlets and OTB shops across the country. I go to horse racing websites and forums. There are a lot of horse players who prefer to wager from home. For them this is a bonus. You can always buy the sports package and watch all of the races on the RSNs. I am sure most of those 80 are just races shown on the RSNs anyway.
man I can not wait for this I wish it was aval toooday!!! forget about it horse racin at its best
