If you have the 42 switch you don't need the hybrid LNB. You have already been told how to wire it in the other thread. Just do it....
OK, he's not right. You probably have a 500 Dish w/DPP Twin LNB for the 110 and 119 and a 500 Dish w/DP Dual for the 129. You need a DPH 42 Switch and a solo hub. That's it. Run the 2 lines off the DPP Twin to inputs 1 and 2 on the 42 switch, line from the DP Dual to the 3rd input on the 42 switch. So I had the hopper 3 delivers it was to late to cancel the order. Spoke to the installer he basically told me I need the 1000.2 dish. I also need the hybrid lnb for western ( not sure which one). He also shahid I need a hybrid hud ( not sure which one). He said that way I can use both satellites the 129 in the other patio to receive the 129 which the hub is suppose to help. Then use the 1000.2 for the 110,119. I then called back to get part numbers I didn’t get the proper help. I live in Canada and currently using the regular hopper. I moved for work reasons. He told me the lnb need to have a line in which will bypass the 42 switch I don’t need anymore per his instructions. I would appreciate all the help and solution if one is available.
Thank you for your time.
Actually, Dish released you do need the Hub to stop Moca from leaking back through the LNB (If I remember that correctly)If you have the 42 switch you don't need the hybrid LNB. You have already been told how to wire it in the other thread. Just do it....
Dual hub won't do you any good. A hub is Hybrid and requires a Hybrid LNB or a 42 Switch connected to DPP/DP LNB's. Dual Hubs are for using 2 Hoppers or a Hopper/Super Joey and needs 2 feeds into is form the same LNB. WHile it looks like it works wit ha 42 Switch, it's not authorized by DishI have wireless joys I ordered a dual hub to try that out. I can’t really think of anything else. I’m being told that if I switch to the 1000.2 and use the hybrid pro lnb I will not be able to use the other 129.
I would like to thank everyone for there feedback and support.
Dual Hub definitely works with the DPH42 switch even though it is not authorized.Dual hub won't do you any good. A hub is Hybrid and requires a Hybrid LNB or a 42 Switch connected to DPP/DP LNB's.
