Dish network called me a thief and cant live in a 2 floor house!

IIRC one of E* people who posts here said the audit nazis were now requiring utility bills for all audits.
I only had ONE active HD receiver on my account and the audit department still called me a few times. I did have more receivers on my account before so maybe that's why they chose to call me in the first place?
I've never heard of Directv doing audits like this... I think it is Dish thinking they can catch a few people splitting accounts and get more revenue. The sad thing is they are probably not taking into account the damage it does.

jeff a mod at the old dbsforms site got audited with ONE receiver because he changed programming too often, that marked him as a audit target......

I've had Directv since 1996 and have never been audited or called to verify the location of my set top boxes. In fairness, I had Dish from 2000-2005 also and was never audited.
Is Dish so concerned with actual (or perceived theft of services) that they actually go this far? If so, they are inviting customers to leave for another service.
I believe what Directv will do is send someone to your house to physically verify the receivers are there.
That sounds extremely inefficient - and doesn't seem like it'd work that well. I'd never let them enter my house for such a reason.

Someone should sue Dish Network over this audit nonsense.
If you can provide the location IDs they have no business asking for anything else, let alone asking for a bill from another company. What about renters that have all utilities included? How can they provide a utility bill? Does this mean renters are not elligible for Dish Network service?

Also what if the receiver is "Locked" in another room and you don't have the key?
What if they call and you just say your not the account holder and to call back another time...then what?
My wife for example is not on the account but the account is setup to her cell phone# since I use mine for installs "I work to install Dish
" cause when I had it on mine it would say it was me trying to do something 
but what if they call and she's at work since we have no home phone anymore..it isn't as if she can just run home.
I'm just highly curious cause I've never had them call me after I had one box in the closet still with programming on it for months a few years ago but just in case in the future I put another in it will be in a locked area that I won't have access too on my own property or home.
Also what if you are like many people that take your box with you on your RV or hunting cabin and you've left it at that location... You still own the property and location its at...then what?

Another location can be in a room of your home.. but I don't think you understand what I'm asking for. Different circumstances arise such as those in the post above I've already posted.. please re-read.
No that is still in your home..
another location means a location that is not in your home. That includes RV's and vacation homes.
To answer you other questions
If you cannot give them the required info the receiver(s) will be permanently turned off.
Even if it is another room in your house.
