True to a point, however, it is much easier to run two cables from a DP34 switch in a house that doesn't have vaulted ceilings, is not a slab, and actually has fishable walls. New houses are simply not designed for running more cables. Almost anything more than 10 years (and most definitely any trailer) I can get two cables where they need to be. Anything new around here, it's wrap or nothing, and you better believe that after paying 200 - 650 thousand, no one (in their right mind) will let you drill straight through their walls, and wrap the cabe around the outside. And furthermore, I only agree with you to a point. I'm not going to spend the extra time to wall fish a cable on a house that I can just run it between the floor boards and the wall in a crack that has formed because the floor is falling out. If a cust doesn't care about his/her home, why should I? (Along the same lines, I have spent significant time making installs on old houses that are well cared for look as good as the house).i couldnt help but notice, you through used the ajective "brand new" for the house. would you not have bothered to use a dpp44 if the house was not new? whether or not a customer is in a new house or a 30 year old trailer, they still pay the same for services, and should be treated the same.
