Could you guys tell me the setup for a vip 622 and a 301. I know the vip needs two inputs and the 301 needs one. On the east coast my HD comes from 61.5. What sattelites and switches do I need that would be the best signal wise.

You do realize you're talking to yourself ?:D

I'm by no means a hardware expert but I believe a Dish 500 for 110 & 119 with a Dish Plus Pro twin LNB and a small Dish 300 with a single LNB for 61.5 will do the trick.

Coax from Dish 300 goes into DPP LNB on Dish 500, then 2 coax from DPP go to: one for 301 and other to 622 but will split into 2 lines with a separator (comes with 622 I think) which both go into 622. No switches would be needed because of the DPP being used.
Just noticed, you pretty much answered your own questions.

Does this have to be done with two dishes or one is my main question I guess?
Either. The DPP Twin can be on a Dish 1000 getting 110, 119 and 129. Or it can be exactly as waltinvt described. Which you get will depend on how far north you are on the east coast. See EKB Satellite Coverage Maps for the Dish 1000 exclusion areas. ~~ never mind, see you answered that in post #1 ~~ It doesn't matter if the 3rd sat LNB is a DP Single or DP Dual.
