What I am trying to find out is how much clearence I need behind and to the side of the 5LNB slimline dish. I am want to install my pole as close to the house as I can.

My elevation is 37.9
My azimuth is 210.1

As long as you can aim the dish to the correct coordinates and maintain the LoS; you can get as close to the house as you want. I would not place it so the water and stuff running off the roof line fall onto the dish or it LNB. But there is no spec that a structure can be too close to the back of the dish reflector as far as I know.

This will be along my gable side of the roof.

You need a little clearance above ( a few feet) and you have to make sure you can rotate the dish to hit the signal...........If your building faces a little SW (like 210) you can attach it to the wall.
