Dish elevation for mounting a motor clarification

Section 5 of the HH120 installation manual has a formula to set the dish elevation as follows: Degrees of dish elevation = P - (60-latitude); and P is the elevation 'given by the manufacturer'.

(my manual is different than what I found online)

Is P the offset factor of the dish, or is it the elevation of the satellite?
