You will not see any changes in the "per dvr fee" until such time that E* has disposed of the tivo lawsuit. The only reason that they have done away with this fee is because it was never charged to Eastern Arc customers. To many questions to answer to the few western arc customers that actually know this.

Although they haven't done so, I suspect they want to start eliminating MPEG2 receivers. They haven't introduced any new models in a long while. At this point it may be not that much cheaper to try and introduce an MPEG4 SD only receiver.
