Although I agree, I can't say that I feel bad for the networks or the advertisers because I also believe the the viewer has a right to choose between watching and skipping the commercials.
Nothing keeping the networks from placing more products into content. If done right, product placement would be a better option. The viewer is not going to skip over parts of The Walking Dead just because they don't want to see a zombie drinking a Pepsi.
Wasn't pointing the finger, just pointing out that what was posted made it seem the AutoHop litigation was over.

The Networks might have lost this round, but wait till the contracts are up with the affiliates and they start demanding more money.

They're going to demand more money anyway. The auto hop/ptat may be used as leverage, but prices can only go so high before a breaking point is reached.
Plus Direct will be rolling out their version so the nets won't be able to pick on just one provider. The cablecos will likely have something similar as well.

Pepsi,Mt,Dew and Dr.Pepper are all southern favorites and were born in the south.The Walking Dead is filmed in Georgia.It was a feeble attempt at humor.
Reading more about the ruling it seems to have an ominous passage by the Judge. "AutoHop's functionality likely violate the RTC between DISH and Fox, and likely violate Fox's exclusive reproduction right under federal copyright laws"
