Soon. What is the current schedule for Broadcasters to provide 4k content?
scott if you see vivek on the floor ask him about slacker, spotify and rdio?thanks
Some wont, but some will. My wife would be far more open to this idea than dropping pay tv and going net only, even if we can already get most of this content with other meansAll your doing is putting all of that content into one app in turn that content is already on the device. People will continue to use Hulu, Neflix and Watch ESPN apps. They are not going to pay 20 bucks just to have the ability to see that content within a single app considering that its only a few clicks away on their device allready. .
I know that I was talking about the menu screen shot in the right hand bottom corner of the Joey 4k flyer. I am talking about the UI not the physical product itself."Flat Design" has nothing to do with the physical shape of the product. It is a type of UI.
Think of the blocky, mono-colored, two-dimensional look of the Windows 8 Metro screen. For some reason that I cannot fathom, Apple, Google, and just about every other SW maker is switching over to this fugly, simplistic, throwback to DOS CGA graphics like Lemmings over a cliff into the sea.
Doh!Agree with all you said above, Gary, except I think bobvick was not talking about the physical shape of the product.
also can you ask them why they have wrong guide data in several cities including the home of CES- Las Vegas and what they will do to fix them and when?

I wonder what the "Melbourne" remote is, mentioned in the Joey4K's spec under remote compatibility. From the Sydney spec sheet:
Right, but the other issue on hand will be the broadband caps. This may push service providers to actually enforce caps. That's really the big elephant in the room. In a world with no caps, I could see an OTT service working really well and everything delivered via IP, but that isnt the world we live in.Some wont, but some will. And its far easier for kids to learn as well.
The one stream will be the limiting factor more than anything IMO.
Edit: People will continue to use Hulu and Netflix whether they use this or not, as they compliment each other.
I wish AT&T would one day inform me what my actual usage was so a Cap would make the least bit of sense.Right, but the other issue on hand will be the broadband caps. I agree. I have absolutely no idea what I use in a month, i just know that I have never had an issue.I wish AT&T would one day inform me what my actual usage was so a Cap would make the least bit of sense.
Once again YES.is tunein coming as a app on the hopper?i just wanted to know.
that means we can listen to satelliteguys on our hopperOnce again YES.
Can "Perth," "Adelaide," "Canberra," and "Hobart" be far behind? I guess if they ever wanted another marsupial they could come out with a Possum to hook up to your Hopper and Joey.I wonder what the "Melbourne" remote is, mentioned in the Joey4K's spec under remote compatibility.
Your router may have a "logging" feature.I agree. I have absolutely no idea what I use in a month, i just know that I have never had an issue.
Count me as disappointed about that, too.Nothing about Amazon Prime. <sigh>
