Dish can't be installed on 3rd floor apartment???

So finally I decide to go Dish, and then the website said if I live on the 3rd floor apartment, they can't install it on the balcony?

My rental office lady said that I might find some local agent to install it for me???

Try contacting a local Dish retailer and explain your situation to them. Bet they will work with you.

any contractor will probably work with you actually, i dont install e*, but i doubt they blacklist all 3rd flr apt installs.

I live in an apartment complex and they have a couple people who have masts in the ground and they just ran the cabling up to the apartment by going up the wood alongside the stairs to the second and third story floors. Not sure if it was approved by the landlords, but it hasn't been torn down in the six months its been installed. Not sure if your property will let you do that.

Another option that I have seen done in my complex is that if the sub has a view of the southwestern sky from their patio, the installer puts the mast in a 5 gallon bucket of quickcrete. Not sure how often it gets nudged or bumped, but it can't be THAT hard to realign the dish, right?

So how to find a reputable retailer locally? Say Louisville, KY~~~~

A lot of people said we shall go to Dish Network direct, since retailers will add some extra contract??

Well, I will make that 2 year contact, however if I move during two years, it might cause me troubles or $$$?

I ordered through Dish Network over the phone and they had a local retailer (Cellular Connection) do the install. The guy who came and did the install had a five gallon bucket and concrete ready for me, but I just put a mast in the ground. I think most local installers will be ready for an apartment install and they tend to know what/where they can do with the dish.
