Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4015438) did seem to fix DishAnywhere crashes on Windows 10 for my desktop, took a long time to install.
Today I installed Microsoft's emergency fix: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4015438). The update installs new versions of CompPkgSup.dll, and it fixes my problem with Dish Anywhere crashing. I don't know what it is with the Microsoft updates lately, but it took 3 tries for me to successfully install KB4015438. My first 2 attempts resulted in the install failing with Error 0x80070490. The 3rd time, it finally worked. It took over 30 minutes for it to fully install.
One positive note: For a change, this time the problem with Dish Anywhere was not Dish's fault, it was Microsoft's faulty update that caused the problem!
