Dish anywhere as a remote

It nice that we can use the iPhone app dish anywhere as a remote on the hopper.
I would also like to my iPhone as a remote for the Joey.
Can this be done? If so how

I do not know, now my S4 has ir transmitter in it and it can work as a remote for anything that use ir remotes.

Although its more of a cool gadget that I use to show off to family and friends than something that I would use as a remote on a daily basis.

I know you can use Dish Explorer as a remote for both Joeys and Hoppers.

I've been using an app called BuddyTV, which allows you to control both Hoppers and Joeys. Give it a try.

Thanks, this is what I'm look for.

FYI: the reason I need this app, is that I have a tv outside, mirror to another TV. Now I don't need to bring the remote outside, or go inside to change the channel.
