i am trying to set up this system i have a dish 500 at 119,110 what satellite is the hd channels i do not see a 129 in the system menu cause someone told me you can get hd in the 129 orbit but there is no 129 could you get hd in 119 or 110 ?? i am new at this and i live in the usa thanks.

Some HD is on the main Dish satellites. But to get all, you need a 3rd satellite, either 129 or 61.5, depending upon where your local HD channels are. This will not magically appear without the addition of another (or different) dish antenna.

thanks for your reply yes i know i need another dish for another satellite but i need to know where are the most hd channels coming like which you recomend the 129 orbit or the 61.5 ?? where are more ?? i live in orlando florida but my reciver does not have the 129 satellite it does have the 61.5 and 121 on the menu could you tell me please thanks.

61.5 and 129 almost mirror one another. 61.5 has a few maore channels. You would be fine to use 61.5.

Check with sat has your HD locals if you want or need them and go with that one. If this does not matter to you, either will do.

61.5 has some local HD, RSN HD and PI channels that 129 does not. Rest of the HD channels are pretty much the same.
