Dish 500 - Two Dishes - DP 34 switch and CoolSat4000Pro

I have existing Dish Network equipment installed. 2 dishes, a DP 34 switch. I just got a CoolSat4000Pro system and it is picking up all the echostar satellites correctly but I am not getting any of the International Channels and some PPV events offered by Dish Network. A friend of mine had a similar setup and same problems, but when he ran two separate lines straight to the receiver he was able to get these channels. Is DP34 the problem here? What's the recommended switch? Any help will be really appreciated.
