So I'm helping a friend of mine with moving their dish to another location and am reviewing the current configuration. Notice that they're using legacy LNB's (1 for 110 & 1 for 119 sats) along with with an SW21 switch connecting to their dish 322 reciever. I personally choose to use DP LNBs with DPP33 switch in every setup that I've done and never had an issue though im a newbie.

But what I'm wondering is that, if I were to run cable from each LNB directly to the reciever (no switches)......will I be able to make use of both tuners??? Or given that both LNB's are dual LNB's and I were to connect one port from each LNB (combining 110 & 119) to SW21 switches and run those two resulting cables to each port on receiver.....will I be able to make use of both tuners???

yes you can use those LNB's. Basically all you have to do is duplicate what you already have for each tuner

one cable from 110 into port 2 on the SW21 switch
one cable from 119 into port 1 on the SW21 switch
cable from output of SW21 switch to sat input on 322

you have to do that for both tuners to work

The LNBs need to be dual Legacy LNBs they have 2 "F" fittings on each LNB and you need 2 SW21 switches. If this means purchasing additional equipment I would suggest spending the money on a DPP Twin and a separator.

considering the OP is in the Caribbean they may have 2 separate dishes or a larger dish that the DPPTwin wont work on (due to different focal distance)

Iceberg is absolutely right. For my personal setup I have DPP33 and DP LNB's but I have multiple Dish 322 recievers.....my friend doesn't. I've tested the DPP Twin and of course it was a waist of money as they don't work here in the Caribbean. We're using a 6ft dish with a bracket for additional satellite.
