Disconnect EHD on 722k

I just added an EHD to my 722k. Is there a proper way to disconnect the drive from the receiver? On my 211k there is a menu item but I cannot find anything like that on the 722 menus.

Just pull the plug as long as it's not transferring any data. I swap mine between the 612 and 722k all the time with no issues.

What lineman said. I just pull the usb cable out of the receiver when not in use.

My LaCie EDDs have power switches, making it easy to power-down the drive.
