I considered switching to DirectTV as I would love to get FX HD. (The Viacom suite is all upconverts. Plus I would lose premiums.)

FYI, Spike and Nick do show HD, Spike shows a bunch of stuff in HD, Nick every now and then.

not to mention D* has online scheduling where E* has been saying "soon" for 6 months. D* has true VOD with premium channels.

I has changed alot since the switch to mpeg4.

I compared the MPEG4 to MPEG4 channels. For example, ESPN2HD to ESPN2HD. Also most of the others channels that at the time had been released in MPEG4.
