Directv Tivo Still Available?

I just got my directv system today and i thought my DVR would be Tivo based but i got a Directv R15 instead. I read that i could have requested a Tivo based DVR, but when i called i was shot down. Anyone know if they still have Tivo based models? Thanks in advance for any help

Don't think you can get one from D* anymore. Best bet is to find a used one off ebay or some online retailers.

only system being sent out is the r15 so yea ebay probably would be the easiest or weaknees

Aren't the HR10-250's TIVO based ? I received one from Directv about 6 weeks ago and its a TIVO. Even has the TIVO logo on the face of it. Plus it was free...

I received a free HD DVR two weeks ago and they installed a H10-250 and is TIVO. Unit is awesome.
