DirecTV on Demand does not support captions?

Hi all. Two times I have purchased a movie from DirecTV on Demand and both times the movie would not display captioning when I enabled it on my DTV box. I tried to enable the CC on my TV and it would not work either. Both times I DVR'd the movie

Anybody know why this is?

But, to answer your question, I'd have to guess that the way the video is encode loses the CC.
