Anyone else having trouble canceling NFL package. They keep adding it to my account for the last 5 months. I have to call them once a month so they don't charge me $250. This is complete B/S. Well today was NO.6. So what do I have to do for this to stop? They gave me $5 off per month for the next 9 months for being the sixth attempt. Thats fine but ,why must I go through this. I don't know what to do. So far I've gotten $10 off for the next 6 months and free Cinemax for 6 months because of this matter. But this is crazy.

This is odd, seeing the rule usually is, if you cancel before the start of the season your ok.
I don't think the monthly payments deal should change that.

This wasn't the monthly payment deal. I had NFL package for 2006. and in January I called directv and told them I don't want it for 2007. Well ever month since them they been trying to charge me $229 for this years NFL package ,after I have told them every month for the last six ,That I want it cancelled.

Well then you need to tell them to quit trying to charge you for it, or you will expect them to give it to you for free this year due to your trouble cancelling it.

You might want to send them an email explaining what you've gone thru and keep a copy for yourself a nd see what happens, at least you will have a reference, other than what they have noted on your account ... since those are things we cannot actually have access to.

Maybe they want to give you this year free !!!

i agree with jimbo. i would email them and keep emailing them until you have it resolved. that way you have a paper trail or alibi file, as we called it in the navy!

Well that's not a bad deal. Just look at it like you spending 15 minutes a month to call them and they give you freebies for your time calling. 10 bucks off and free SKINemax is not a bad deal at all for 15 minutes of your time. I wish I had that problem.

I do understand the frustration of CS incompetence though.

I agree but ,NFL cost more then what they are giving me for discounts.I don't even care about getting any discount.I just want this to stop.
