DirecTv Dish W\StarChoice Receiver

Dows anybody know if a DirecTv Dish and LNB will work with a StarChoice receiver to receive StarChoice?

quick answer.....nope


Reason behind it...
-StarChoice uses linear polarity (like FTA). Directv is circular polarity
-FTA (and SC) frequencies are lower than DBS, so the LNB wouldnt work
-minimum dish size for SC is 24"...30" is recommended

if you are going rving or something like that with a proper lnb you may be able use an 18 inch directv dish but you will have a really low signal.
