It happends.
I just am so sick of how everyone claims E* is so great at launching new channels, and that they deliver.
Everyone seems to forget 15 channels Dropped in 1 day with NO NOTICE.
Plus many more channel drops without notice.
I remember E* used to have about 5 Outdoor sports channels ,they dropped about 6 months before voom.
It happends.

That is why I never went to dish. I was gonna take the plunge one day then on my local stations they were saying Dish was dropping them and to continue their programming go to Comcast or D*. Now they finally worked out the contract but I don't need them dropping my locals at anytime.
I'm VERY excited that WGN-TV will finally be in HD. I switched over from Dish to Direct last summer and the only thing that disapointed me was that WGN was in HD at Dish but not Direct.
Now...I can watch EVERY Cub game in wonderful HD! Life is Good!

Univision east in HD when?
Directv's website says coming in April...

HAHA... last year? Are you living in 2008? This is 2010. They made the promise in June of 2007 for a fall-Dec launch. The press release is still floating around the net and this site if you wish to double-check the promise.

I am angry about this lie no less than weekly, so I remember the date all too well. For the short time I had FIOS, I enjoyed all 26 in HD... and here I get the east and west of the flagships of each with DirecTV... at least we'll get two more soon.. haha
Crap I will see the the new channels when they get here .. D* has been promising PBSHD since 17 DEc 2007, and I still do not have here in New Orleans.. The channel(S) are there but D* does not have them YET and that has been since DEC 2007!!!!!!

Actually, my understanding is that WGN America will be in HD and that will not help when games are on WCIU or not on the nationwide feed. :rant:
They have added many PBS HD's in many many markets since the announcement. In fact, we have three PBS HD's in my market through Direct.
I have PBS HD through D* as well in the Scranton /Wilkes-Barre DMA.
Dish Currently doesn't have PBS in HD in my DMA.

I think they do, But I don't think its many.
I thought I remember them in some past uplinks, But Don't know if the switches ever got switched to ON.
The New Orleans PBS has been uplinked within the past few months. Hopefully they'll add it for you soon.
PBS HD has been added on Dish to something like 10-15 markets. Ironically, many of them are small markets. From what I understand, they are trying to fill out some of the smaller markets to meet whatever agreement they made with Congress with regards to LIL carriage around the country.
Actually I caught a brief music video on ch 402 this am before 7am that was in HD. Guess some shows are HD others are SD.
