Yes, I usually sub to sports pack in the fall for college football, like there are not enough on other channels already :D

Well, there are some college games on the various RSNs that aren't national and are only on specific RSNs. For instance my Tar Heels are sometimes only on Fox Sports South when they play a lesser non conference team. Also my oldest daughter is a huge horse fan and loves TVG which is in the sports pack.

How do you get Florida and California sports stations?
PREMIER NFL SUNDAY TICKET, MLB Extra Innings

Just glancing at the weekly incert in the ads that Directv has. I see under the News section in HD-They have HLN, CSPAN/CSPAN 2? Future adds??

And in the movies section-Turner Classic Movies? Though since I dont watch it is that in HD right now?

Turner Classic Movies is available in HD but we don't get it with DirecTV yet. That would be a good add. I may be in the minority as a 35 year old that loves old movies, but I love the old movies.

As for CSPAN. Do we really want to look at that motley crew called Congress in HD? I'd rather see We in HD.. (because We is Rainbow and would lead to AMC, Fuse, IFC in HD... not because I watch We). I just see no need for CSPAN 1/2 in HD.

I don't watch HLN but saw it in HD at a hotel and it looks pretty good. So sure, add it.

Seriously though.... AMC HD.... anybody listening? AMC HD for the original series... I missed Breaking Bad in HD, but you could add it before Madmen starts in August.

I can't seem to find anything about Turner Classic on their site. Where exactly should I be looking? I see the big white news thing but it only shows next weeks adds and current HD. Thanks in advance.

Yes, HLN would be a nice add, saw it when I had Dish. CSPAN would be a bit odd, in HD. Just wondering if by putting these channels in the sunday advertisement adds, if this qulifies as "soon"

Well... since I am officially switching to D* after 12 years with E*, I would really like to see Epix. I loved that channel and will really miss it.

Yes, TCM SD has been on Directv all along. TCM HD would be BIG news. TCM HD is on a lot of people's wish lists.

It's not offered yet but it should be and if it doesn't get added "soon" I'll be very unhappy.

Why are you making the switch? If it wasn't for missing Seattle area sports I would probably have made the switch the other direction (back to Dish) a while ago. As it is, I'm holding on to see what they add in HD in the next month or so now that their capacity is expanded.

We should expect them to offer everything Dish does at the present time as a minimum. They have the capacity now and they should. But the two years I've been with Directv have taught me to expect nada.
