DirectTV RC64 and RC64R Issues With Vizio Model E470VL

Hello All,
I just bought a vizio 47" lcd tv model E470VL, brought it home, hooked it up only to find that my directtv remote would not work for my directtv hd dvr box while the tv is on. If I unplug the TV, I can turn the receiver on/off, but with the TV on I cannot do anything! This is the case for both the RC64 and RC64R remotes that I have.

Likewise, I could not program the TV remote for the DVR Box so I could at least try running it from there.

There seems to be some interference and I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to this?

I wanted to let folks know that I resolved this. I ended up going into the remote setup section of the receiver setup menu and changed my remote from IR to RF. That allowed at least the RC64R controller to work. I'm not sure if there is another option to change the IR channel it operates on, etc, but this worked fine!
