Direct TV using DISH 500 dish?

Can I use my new Direct TV Hughes Executive HAH-SA receiver with my old DISH 500 antenna by repointing it to the Direct TV satellite? Are they otherwise compatible??

You should be able to use the dish with DirecTV. Is the dish 500 antenna a triple lnb. If you want to receive all programming from d* you will need a dish capable of receiving the 101,110 and 119 satellites.hope this helps.................DIGITAL~DAN
