digital audio output lag

the audio from my 625 going into my surround sound with an optical cable in delayed a fraction of a second and it seems like im watching a kung fu movie
any ideas?

Does your audio system have any settings for delay?

Has it always done this or just happened recently? Maybe try rebooting the receiver (hold front panel power button in till you hear the fan whine)

it didn't do it to begin with and only does on certain channels.
no delay setting on surround

I use a Felston digital delay with my 622. See it here: http://lipfix.com/home.html

It works great, but I hope I don't always need it!
