digicipher woes

What is up with the digicypher ( I know I spelleled it wrong) and why can't I get any quality out of it??

Do you have a Digicipher receiver? The Fortec Ultra (like most DVB recievers) doesn't do digicipher. A lot of the analog recievers can do digicipher.

um, no it can't

Analog is just NTSC

Digital is either DVB or DCII (Digicipher II). DVB is the boxes we have. To watch DCII, you would need a 4DTV receiver and C-Band (since the 4DTV has to recognize C-band)

Sorry - was late and wasn't think'n clearly . Videocipher is what I was think'n.

yes, VCII is the analog encryption
DCII is the digital counterpart
