What are the differences between Vip 211 and ViP 222?

222 has not been released but if it does it will have 2 tuners and 2 tv outputs.

What are the differences between Vip 211 and ViP 222?

The 211 is a simple one tuner/one TV receiver Mpeg 2/4 HD receiver (w/o Harddrive of course). The 222 is a two tuner/two TV receiver (again no Harddrive) with HD out for TV1 and SD output for TV2... Gerry

Would be nice if they gave us a 8vsb out on the 222, so people w/ HD Tuners in there TV's could use dish w/o any extra fee (but i know, not protected etc)

Would be cool tho, and would be really easy to archive w/ a PC OTA HDTV tuner!
