Where can I find out he differences?........Guess I'm behind the times:eek:

Trying to figure what receivers are needed and what I gain from one vs the other.

PD

4:2:0 any DVB receiver can get
4:2:2 only a couple high end receivers and PC cards can get :)

These are chroma sampling ratios used in the streams. 4:2:2 means that Y (luminance) is sampled 4 times for every 2 of B-Y (color difference blue) and 2 of R-Y (color difference red)... 4:2:0 means that luminance is sampled 4 times and B-Y and R-Y are sampled alternately.
