Denver Locals HD Problem

I had an HDMI failure on my 622 recently and got a new one about 1.5 weeks ago. I did not notice it earlier, but shows on Denver Channel 31 do not seem to come in as HD anymore. I usually only watch the 9 PM news and it is no longer HD. Channels 4, 7 and 9 news, for example, ARE in HD as usual. Anyone else have this problem? If not, what might be the problem?

UPDATE: The Cub/Cardinal game is in now showing in HD on Channel 31! Can there be a problem with the local affiliate vs. National shows? Sure, right? I emailed Channel 31 yesterday but with no reply.

Fox31 local news programming is not in HD. What you are seeing on Dish locals is upconverted SD. Some Fox national stuff is also upconverted SD (e.g., Fox News Sunday), but it is upconverted by the network, then sent to Fox31 where it gets a second upconvert so it looks better than the Fox31 local news. Most of Fox's primetime network shows and sports broadcasts are in real HD.
