Not too long ago, actor Jon Bernthal teased the massive arsenal that will be at his character's disposal when Frank Castle arrives in Hell's Kitchen for the second season of "Daredevil." Now, the actor really gets the fan fires burning hot with a new photo featuring the Punisher's iconic skull.In a picture posted on Twitter, Bernthal is on the set of the Marvel Television/Netflix series, with the familiar white symbol emblazoned on the back of his black jersey, the name "CASTLE" in block letters above it.

Fans of Netflix and Marvel’s “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones” got a first look at the upcoming seasons at New York Comic-Con on Saturday night.Ahead of “Daredevil’s” 2016 return, Marvel’s Head of TV Jeph Loeb introduced a brief teaser that began with season one footage before transitioning into never-before-seen season two scenes, starting with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and his friends Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) sitting looking defeated in a church, as Matt says in voiceover, “Why do I still feel guilty?”Guilt can be a good thing,” Father Lantom tells him, since it’s a way of telling a person that they “still have work to do.” The footage then cuts to quick shots of Matt in full Daredevil costume descending a stairwell; Foggy flanked by cops; new cast addition Elekra (Elodie Yung) pulling a fabric mask across the lower half of her face; Karen looking at an x-ray of a skull that looks suspiciously like The Punisher’s symbol; and Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), aka The Punisher, walking down a hospital corridor with a gun in hand as his voice ominously intones, “Beg.”The stars were joined on stage by new showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, who admitted that the enthusiastic fan response for “Daredevil” season one helped reassure them that there was an appetite for “dark, gritty, sophisticated content.” They’ll push the envelope even further in season two — “you wanted grounded, you wanted dark, here’s Elektra, here’s Punisher,” Ramirez laughed.

Marvel’s Daredevil Netflix series was a groundbreaking hit that added a much needed darker corner to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hence, anticipation is high for Daredevil season 2, which is not yet done filming and will premiere on Netflix in 2016. Being a breakout superhero TV series, Daredevil was one of two Marvel Netflix series that were big attractions at New York Comic-Con 2015 (the other being the upcoming Jessica Jones); in addition to a panel that highlighted plans for Daredevil season 2, NYCC attendees were greeted to a sneak peak teaser trailer for the episodes that lie ahead.Now the first-look footage for Daredevil season 2 has made it’s way online, and you can watch the debut of the new Punisher and Elektra for yourself.

Marvel has unveiled a new trailer for Daredevil's second season, offering a first look at Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.The clip was revealed behind closed doors at Comic Con Experience in Brazil and thanks to tight security, the footage has yet to surface online. Fortunately, Tumblr user Cherryvane (via ComicBook.com) has posted a description of what was shown.According to the description, the trailer opens with Daredevil in what appears to be a refrigerated room with large pieces of meat hanging from the ceiling. After discovering people are also hanging, he questions a survivor, saying, "Why did they do this to you?" The man replies, "They? It was just a guy."
