CSTNO? channel 421

So obviously this is my infamous Cox Sports TV which has exclusive rights to the Hornets game down here in New Orleans.

Being a non cable person, I've never been able to get them. So does this mean Dish is working something out with them? Does anyone have any info on this "Hornets Free Preview Saturday Night"?

They were already coming on NBA TV, so I'm not sure why this was even needed. I hope this is something they are adding or I can buy via Dish soon.

Anyone know anything?

Not sure I can offer any help, I just noticed that the program guide on my 722 and 211 differ for 421, while the 722 only lists the free preview of the Hornets game, the 211 guide list all the programs on CST including the Voodoo game on Sunday, but on both receiver I am only receiving the Dish logo slate

Yeah, someone from the hornetsreport website thinks it's a permanent thing. And with your info of your 211 guide list showing all the programs, it makes me think it will stay.

Which is GREAT! I'm guessing it won't "launch" until the game tonight.

same with me, however starting with wed, the 722 guide does list the regular programs.
I dont think this will be ppv as that defeats the purpose the hornets are trying to achieve.Well see.

Yes i saw that however on the guide it says "Hornets Free Preview Saturday Night". People were wondering if it would then later be a pay service, since it says free preview.
My understanding is that it would be a rsn type of channel, not a pay channel, but we will see.

Got you! I'd say it will be a RSN channel because it's in the RSNs range.

What a pleasant surprise. I didn't think we'd ever get CST. I am soooo happy about it.

Just more reason I love Dish and will stay with them and I'll just be patient until the new bird is up for more HD.

There was another story in the paper yesterday saying it would launch before the game wed. i figure they will wait to turn it on @ 6:30 for hornets tonite

Cst is on now. Right now they are showing the replay of the LSU ladies softball game

As of right now, it is only on spot beam in the Hornets area. It is not part of the multi-sports package.
