Cowboys sign Vanderjagt

From www.espn.com The Dallas Cowboys have signed Mike Vanderjagt to a 3 year contract.Financial details were not available,but,it is believed the contract averages about $2 million annually.

Yes they sure did.I had heard somewhere (NFL Network,I think) that the Colts had signed a deal with Adam Vinatieri.So,it looks like the Patriots are in the market for a kicker now.

On another Cowboys note,there was some info scrolling across the bottom of the screen on ESPN2 a little while ago about a preseason game between the Cowboys and Saints,to be played at Independence Stadium in Shreveport,LA on Mon. Aug. 21 at 7pm ET that will be televised by ESPN.

Strangly enough, now that the Patriots need a kicker ....
I haven't hesrd any speculation as to who they might be looking for.
You would think that would be the natural next question.
