Controlling my Optoma RD50 television

Hello,

I'm a recent convert to Dish Network. I have a VIP622 connected to my Optoma RD50 DLP television. Unfortunately, there are no listed codes for the Dish remote control for my TV. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the remote programmed for my TV? Is there any chance that these remotes can learn new codes if they don't already know them?

I have an RD-50 also and wasn't able to find any remote code that would work with the TV. Unfortunately, the 622 remotes are not learning remotes. I ended up getting a Logitech Harmony to control everything.

Check the user's manual for "scanning for codes". You might get lucky.

Unfortunately, I tried that and didn't get it to work. For the moment, I'm going to just stick with two remotes.
