Constant Black Screen with new Sling Adapter and Hopper

Hello all, Dish newbie here. I absolutely love the service and the new Hopper! I just got my Sling adapter hooked up and sometimes it works and most of the time it doesn't. All I get is a black screen using both the iPad app and the web browser. Is there anything I can check for to see if I can fix it on my end.

sounds like it doesnt know which tuner to pick up? have you tried it with joeys turned off? if you are using all 3 tunes,the 4th that tries to connect will have a black screen.
 
If it all was just installed give it a couple of days I've seen this on a couple installs and in my house. The 922 had the same wait for everything to be up and running properly
 
It has been over 2 weeks now and it still doesn't work right. I just tried to watch a live show on my iPad and I could see it take the available tuner and showed the sling logo, but I never get a picture on my iPad. Just a black screen. It does the same thing with my iPhone.
