Here are my current settings:

Skew 130
Elev 33

110 119
TP7-94 TP7-107
TP8-98 TP10-107
TP10-85 TP11-112
TP11-93 TP13-107
TP13-89

I feel that I should get better on 110, is this the case? Or should I leave it where it is?

Im in Sc, Zip 29445. If I should adjust more to 110 over 119, my question is mainly which adjustment should I go with? Or a little bit of both?

Thanks for the direction ahead of time.

Those look pretty good to me. How about your signals on 129? Remember any move you make is going to have an effect on all 3 birds. You may be ablle to improve 110 but by doing that you may drop 129 down by the same or more. Unless you are having dropouts then I wouldn't change it. Or if you really want to mess with it then just mark exactly where you are and give it a shot. Never know what you might be able to do. :)

I have the D500 on 129 so Im good :). Just was wondering if I could eek anymore out of 110 in my area. I have everything marked on both dishes, just paranoid about messing with it I guess since its works fine.

lakebum,

He has a second dish (D500) at 129 but I agree with you, 110 looks very good to me.

Thanks guys, Ill leave it alone. I only get dropouts on 129 now in a downpour, and its not long. I guess since 110 is higher than 129, I should go with "if it aint broke dont fix it"!

My bad. I didn't realize that you had another dish up for 129. You might be able to get a bit more but I don't think it will make any difference (again, unless you are having dropouts).

The next Dish satellite launch is specifically for the purpose of increasing signal strength on 110 .

(At the same time, that will free up another satellite that will probably be used for new MPEG4 service.)

So, if your Dish500 is a little bit low on 110 and a little bit high on 119, then that is exactly what you want, because the 110 (except for the spot beams) will be higher around the end of the year.

Does Dish have Plans ????
