Confused about swm 16 muliswitch

I have swm 16 multiswitch installed in box outside, there are also 2 two way splitters installed there ..i have HR34 and HR24 doi actually need those splitters with swm 16 My lnb has 4 coax outputs just wondering if i can cut down on connections outside for possible improvements ...........thanks for the help

With an HR34 and HR24 you have 7 tuners. The swm16 is more than enough. In fact, you only need a swm8. I'm surprised you have the swm16. Did you have other receivers/dvrs at one point?

No this is all i have do i need the 2 2way splitters installed with swm 16 or can i remove them without causing problems

You could just go with one splitter on one of the SWM "legs" since each leg gives you 8 tuners. I would put the HR24 on one leg and the HR34 on the other leg and go with no splitters.

Thanks so much im going to remove the splitters and just run straight to the swm16 with no splitters at all is this correct?
