I have been reading all the posts about Platinum being free on August 1st.Will this be added to all packages or just The Classic with HD add on.I have Turbo Gold and was wondering if Platinum will be available on that package.(Most likely not,but who knows?)I feel it should be added to at least Turbo Gold and above(Classic etc)as Turbo Gold is still missing alot of HD.

No one knows for sure. August 1st is only a week away so we will know by then. However some have suggested that the "Platinum Rollover" may take up to 7 or 8 days. Confused still??? Me too.
You can get it free online for 3 months now. Just go ahead and sign up and enjoy, then let whatever Dish is doing shake out.
Platinum is Free for everyone who subscribes to HD service. If you don't have Platinum for free, Call Dish Network.
Be aware that you will lose any bundle discounts and possibly the $3 @ month DVR discount if you had DVR Advantage, now called With DVR. HD Gold & the 250 package add on will no longer count as part of a bundle discount, again if you had DVR Advantage.
