As of today, I have had it with the Customer Service at the other company. I am switching to D***. I have 3 TV's. One is SD and the other two are HD. Anyways, I've never had D*** and I need advice as to what to equipment to request. I must have DVR on both HD TV's and we don't subscribe to any premium channels. Are there different dishes? Which receivers do I need? Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. What questions do I need to answer?

I would recommend 2 722Ks. Each gives you 1 HD and 1 SD output. You can put the first one in single mode since you are only hooking it up to 1 TV. You can send a PM to a DIRT team member and they'll help you get set up.

AT250 has all of the cable channels without premiums. The installer will pick the best dish for your needs. Most likely a 1000.2 or a 1000.4. That depends if your market is on Eastern or Western Arc.

722 for sure but if cost is a major factor then I wouldn't get 2 722's.The second one will cost an additional $17 per month.A 612 would save you $7 per month.

My recommendations are a 722 to connect the main HDTV and the SDTV and a 211 to the 2nd HDTV. For the 211 I would get an external HD and pay the one time $40 activation fee. There is no activation fee for an external hd on the 722.
That set up gives you 2 HD tuners on the 722 and if it's a k model with the ota module, 2 ota tuners. The 211 would have dvr functionality with 1 sat tuner and 1 ota tuner. There would be only a dvr fee for the 722 but not for the 211.

Biggest recommendation is to look at Dish's approximately 10494 options for packages... alright, maybe not that many. Check out the normal packages 120, 120+, 200, 250, but check the All HD packages and the Latino Packages as well. Only you really know what your priorities are for channels. Enjoy.

There no longer is a $40 activation fee for the EHD, right?
