Come On Dish Add some more real HD. You have the room and there are plenty of HD channels available and I don't mean Sports LoGo channels. There are Starz, SciFi and others. Quit procrastinating and get going!. We are tired of waiting. You have room on 129 and 61.5, so use it.

I switch to D* 2 months ago and I got my HD. Stop begging E* and switch.

Begging eh?

"Please please give me more HD. I will do anything. Wash your floors. Cook your food. Perform any sexual favor. Pay more for the privilage. And more. Thank you for allowing me to serve you."

There, now thats begging. Anybody here want to send them an email with that? Not I :D

Easier said than done. Some of us are under contract and don't want to pay a couple hundred dollars to get out of it, and then turn around and pay a several more hundreds of dollars for all new equipment.

It's much easier (and cheaper) to beg E* to add more HD. :D

While I rarely feel like I have nothing to watch on Dish, I'd like Sci Fi and some more premium feeds (which I am paying for, in my opinion anyway), but I'm not got to beg, and I can be patient. Dish has been great in the past two years, regularly adding new HD. They'll get further, its just taking time.

I sure as heck am not switching to DirecTV. I have more than 70 movies archived in HD from Dish; not gonna work with DirecTV.

Ditto. I'm fast closing in on the 100 HD movie mark. The only additional HD channels I would like to have are SciFi, USA and FX (the plexes would be nice but they can leave out the West coast feeds).

I have 60 HD movies on my external HD from HBO & Starz. I just bought another external hard drive so I can store more. I am like a squirrel. Storing movies for the dry spell at Christmas and next summer when the HD networks are in reruns, I do not watch reruns. I just want the same HD channels that are available on D. Come on Dish! We have waited long enough. Give us a bone and add a few HD channels that are not sports logo channels. Does D* even allow external harddrives?

E*, please add as much HD as possible. I don't care if the station doesn't carry any HD programming, it stll makes the SD content look 100% better. Also, stations and networks are not going to produce HD content until they have a decent distribution of its HD channel. This is not what came first, the chicken or the egg. Its pretty obvious, No network is going to produce HD programming without a HD channel on the main sat/cable networks.

Damn!

Damn, damn damn!

I honestly never thought of that before I started filling a pair of 500 gig drives.

Hey Charlie. How you doing buddy? Your not going to hurt me too badly while your screwing me, are you? Remember it's you and me forever buddy!

Don't ever recall seeing any widescreen SD, but the movie "The Fugitive" I recorded the other day was 4X3 SD.
